Hilo residents know this spot well for seeing turtles
My new favorite place
Volcano Poas in Costa Rica
When the cloud cover broke
Estes Park, Colorado
The view is always better when it's a challenge to get there.
Can't beat Big Island Views
Sunset Kona side
Driving through Zion National Park in Utah
Zion may be my favorite national park in the US because of The Narrows river hike.
Color Run in Kona, Hawaii
Ran (walked) the first 5K of my life at the Color Run. Everyone celebrated with a dance/mosh pit of color at the end!
Out in Utah
Underneath the tree, we ate cheeseballs and Oreos by the river.
Beach in Kona, Hawaii
Hidden away on the Kona coast, this beach is almost empty on cloudy days.
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
Handstand in the crater in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Lava rock can be sharp like glass. Good thing I didn't fall.
Somewhere in Hawaii
Taken down by Waipio Valley (perhaps) on the Big Island
Ft. Lauderdale, FL
During a long layover in Ft. Lauderdale, we walked to this beach to stretch our legs.
Campsite near Arches National Park, Utah
The red canyons and Colorado River off of Route 128 = the best campsite backdrop I've seen yet.
Great Sand Dunes National Park, Colorado
Suddenly, sand dunes rose up out of the dirt and butted up against the Rockies. Weird.
Mount Evans in CO
Despite the warm weather in Denver, the mountains are still frozen.
Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Colorado
At this park, we watched a woman conquer her fear of hights by slowly walking out to each scenic point and looking over the edge #lifegoals
Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
The morning mist looked exactly like my hangover felt.
Sunflower Field in MD
Annual sunflower field blooms in Maryland. If you look close enough, you can find these weird bugs on every flower.
Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming
This canyon was being super photogenic. I took pictures from all its angles ;)
Great Sand Dunes National Park, CO
Hiking up the sand dunes, I had to turn around every so often to remember there were green mountains right behind me. Not the endless desert that seemed to stretch out in front of me.
Rainbow Falls in Hilo, Hawaii
On date #3, my boyfriend took me to climb banyon trees and see the waterfalls in Hilo. Hawaii's constant beauty made it easy for him to woo me.
Trail Ridge Road in Estes Park, CO
Driving up Trail Ridge Road, I saw these elk getting settled in for the cold night. When I think of Rocky Mountain National Park, this scene--purple sunset cradling looming mountains--is what I imagine.
